We Will Serve As A Bridge Between ECOWAS And AES – Ablakwa

Okudjato Ablakwa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, says Ghana will be a gateway between the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and Alliance of Sahel States (AES).

Speaking to the house today, the minister explained the essence of bringing these aligned states back to the organisation.

The Minister today, when answering questions regarding the region’s securities and matters concerning Ghana.

The states, Burkina Faso, Mali and Guinea have recently undergone democratic threat that led them to form “Alliance Sahara States” and eliminate itself from the ECOWAS.

Ghana government, according to Ablakwa, is committed to engaging the AES back to ECOWAS.
