Parliament Approves GHS 65,899,456 For Ministry of Sports & Recreation

In a move aimed at promoting sports development and recreation in Ghana, Parliament has approved a GHS 65,899,456 allocation for the Ministry of Sports and Recreation’s activities.

This funding is expected to support the development of sports infrastructure, promote grassroots sports development, and enhance Ghana’s competitiveness in international sports.

The approved budget will be used to implement initiatives aimed at improving sports facilities, supporting athlete development programs, and promoting sports tourism in Ghana.

These efforts should ultimately contribute to a more vibrant and competitive sports sector in Ghana.

As the ministry receives this funding, stakeholders are expecting the implementation of innovative programs and projects that will drive sports development and recreation in Ghana.
