As the Anglican Diocese of Accra opened its 25th Synod, Bishop Daniel S.M. Torto delivered a passionate charge that emphasized people centered mission and unity in a fractured world. With a theme drawn from Ephesians 4:1–6, the Bishop’s address called the Church to model the Gospel through humility, patience, and love.
“We are not just building structures, we are building a people of faith, unity, and purpose. If we build… they will come,” Bishop Torto declared.
Among the Church’s recent achievements were the planting of four new churches in Otaten, Weija, Ngleshie Amanfro, and Chinto, increasing the total number of parishes and congregations to 85.
He also applauded the dedication of guilds and clergy despite limited resources, commending them as “miracle workers” in sustaining the work of the Diocese.
