Story by Mary Jane Yartey

Apostle Professor Opoku N.K Opoku Onyinah, the former Chairman of The Church of Pentecost and the former President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), has urged ministers of the gospel to maintain the spirit of peace and unity among Christians.

Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah made this statement during the opening section of the twenty-fifth Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Accra at St. Joseph the Worker Anglican Church.

He spoke on the topic “Make Us One: A Call to Unity,” referencing the scripture from Ephesians 4:1-3.

In his sermon, Apostle Professor Onyinah emphasized the importance of maintaining unity within the church.

He stated that peace brings everything together and encouraged everyone to be a person of peace.

Additionally, he urged individuals to know their calling and to be content. He also noted that mutual submission fosters unity.
