The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, and the Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Technology, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, are in stable condition following a road traffic accident on the Bolgatanga-Tumu road in the early hours of Thursday, February 12.
The incident occurred while the ministers and their convoys were travelling to the Upper West Region to participate in the 40th anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education.
According to officials, all members of the convoy are receiving medical attention. Authorities have confirmed that everyone involved in the accident is in stable condition.
In a statement, the Office of the Education Minister expressed gratitude to emergency responders and health workers for their prompt response. The office also thanked members of the public for their concern and support.
