GES to Publish National Service Recruitment Shortlist by July 20

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that shortlisted candidates for its National Service Personnel (NSP) recruitment exercise will be published on July 20, 2026, following the ongoing review of applications submitted from across the country.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, June 24, the Service said it is currently evaluating all applications to ensure candidates meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the recruitment advertisement.

GES expressed appreciation to all applicants for their interest and patience, assuring them that the selection process is being conducted in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

According to the recruitment timetable released by the Service, the assessment of applications is expected to be completed by June 30, after which the shortlist of successful candidates will be prepared for publication on July 20.

The Service further disclosed that shortlisted applicants will undergo an onboarding exercise at the regional and district levels between July 20 and August 31. The process is aimed at preparing recruits for deployment and smooth integration into the education sector.

GES noted that all successful candidates are expected to officially assume duty on August 31, 2026, marking the final stage of the recruitment exercise.

The recruitment forms part of GES’s efforts to strengthen human resource capacity within the education sector and ensure the effective placement of qualified personnel across the country.
