CLOGSAG Executive Secretary Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo dies after brief illness

Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo, the Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), has died.

Sources from Citi News confirmed that Dr Bampoe Addo passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, after a brief illness.

Until his death, he played a key role in CLOGSAG’s engagements with government and other stakeholders, particularly on issues affecting public sector workers.

As Executive Secretary, Dr Bampoe Addo was involved in national negotiations and industrial actions undertaken by the association, while also helping to shape its institutional policies and advance the interests of its members on labour and public sector matters.
