The Chief Executive Officer and management team of the Captain Baron Foundation paid a working visit to Skate Soccer Global at their training grounds in Kantamanto, as part of the Foundation’s ongoing effort to monitor how donated football equipment is being utilized by beneficiary organizations.
The visit forms part of a broader accountability drive by Captain Baron Foundation, which last month donated jerseys and football equipment to seven foundations in Accra. The Kantamanto visit allowed the CEO and his management to witness the Skate Soccer Global setup firsthand and assess whether the donated items were being put to good use.
Speaking to the Skate Soccer Global team during the visit, the CEO, James Boye-Doe commended the group for their dedication and encouraged them to continue their good work.
He urged the players and staff to remain united in pursuit of their shared goals, stressing that unity would be key to the team’s long-term success.
As part of the day’s activities, the Skate Soccer Global team was split into two sides for a squad friendly, giving the visiting management a live demonstration of the players in action on the pitch and a practical look at the donated equipment in use.
The visit is expected to be the first of several monitoring stops as Captain Baron Foundation continues checking in on the seven beneficiary foundations that received support last month.
